PBS Psychological Counseling
For many students, studying is the best time of their lives, but it also brings with it a number of new challenges that can favour psychological crises and stress: For example, compared to non-students of the same age, there are still various dependencies (parents, lecturers, finances, etc.) and the separation from home and place of study usually requires a new social environment to be built up locally. In addition, students are expected to show a great deal of initiative, self-confidence and self-discipline (actively socialising, speaking freely in front of unknown people, independent learning, adequate time management, etc.). Last but not least, university conditions are often characterised by anonymity as well as pressure to perform and compete. If you need support in overcoming these challenges, you are welcome to contact the PBS.
