The Sustainability Festival will take place at the University of Mannheim on May 6th. On this day, anyone interested can find out more about what is happening in the area of sustainability on the university campus online and on site. The Studierendenwerk Mannheim, which was the first of 57 German student unions to achieve climate neutrality, is also taking part. In Jan Karcher's lecture at 3:00 p.m. in EW 165 you will learn how the CO2 footprint of the Studierendenwerk was calculated using the "key figure-based climate protection" method.
Our catering facilities on campus also ensure lasting enjoyment on this special day. Look forward to a vegan asparagus ragout with new potatoes in the Mensa am Schloss, which was prepared with regional and seasonal components. At our street food corner in the middle of the Ehrenhof you can, among other things, strengthen yourself with vegan brownies from „greenes²® - mindful campus food“, which was awarded this year’s INTERNORGA Future Prize, and find out about our exciting projects in the field of sustainability at our information stand. We will be happy to answer your questions there and look forward to numerous visitors.
